Liam's Blog

While writing I got a fair amount of comments. I enjoyed reading them and responding. This was a great thing to start doing and I most likely will continue in the summer. But usually I just forget about thing I did in the school year. Some of my posts were worse than others. I think I will write about some things, like the Boy Scout troop I am in and about BS Summer camp. I won’t be able to post them on the Student blogging challenge website. Blogging is really fun and I will someday come back to this later in my life and be like, “Wow, I don’t remember this.” But I hopefully will remember.

In my town there is a small festival that is called harvest day. It is only known in my town and the town around my town. It is fun and there are games but nothing like rides or a boardwalk. There’s a small fee to get in but it really is worth it. Because there are a few stores outside of the festival you can get amazing ice cream and water ice across the street. It is called Yardley Water Ice and it won Philli’s best water ice and custard(ice cream). I sponsor this company nonoffically. It is really really fun and I love going every year.

There are many types of musical instruments, from the Grand Piano to the electrical guitar. I play an instrument, that is the clarinet. The clarinet is a long woodwind instrument that has 6 parts. The mouthpiece, ligature, barrel joint, upper joint, lower joint, and bell. They are black with silver keys. There are A LOT of keys. They have corks to connect the parts. It uses a reed to make noise.

The school I go to is small and is PreK 3 to 8th grade. Unlike most schools, we don’t have gym every day! They also make us call gym, Physical Education. We have math(regular math and honors math), science, ELA, social studies and religion. We also have “specials,” they are; music, gym, technology, art, and spanish, which we have either once or twice every week. The other specials we have once a week. We have 2 breaks and 8 other periods. Our school day is from 8:30 a.m to 3:15 p.m. You can take the bus or car. One person walks to school because they live right next to the school!

One day Phillip, a fisher, was walking on the pavement to go the the docks. When he got there we saw a lot of people already on the beach he saw someone really far from shore. The person couldn’t hear the lifeguard, so Phillip go in his boat and started toward the person. He got his friends to come with him to go fishing after this. When the person was about to climb the ladder of the boat he attacked and grabbed onto the ladder. Then Phillip remembered, there was a dangerous shark in the water. The shark was worth LOTS of valuable coins. The water turned red, the man couldn’t be saved at this point. They started to sail away but the shark bit th hull of the ship and the ship started sinking. Phillip didn’t know how he would get out of this situation.

When a bear was made there was a special locket placed inside. The locket would someday hold something very special.

When a young boy saw the bear he knew he wanted it. He asked his parents but they said he would have to earn money for it. So he did many chores and sold some old toys. When he finally had enough money he went to the store and bought the bear. When he bought it the man working the shop said, “This is a very special bear, treat it carefully.” The boy said okay and dropped it when walking home. Then he felt weird, he couldn’t move. He yelled for help but nothing came out. Then he thought, he was inside the bear.
